About Me
Hello there, I’m a bi-coastal writer and project coordinator.
Over the last ten years I've worked extensively in the film entertainment and technology industries. The combined experiences from my multi-disciplinary jobs ultimately led me to become the head of creative and business development for a respected Hollywood production company.
I graduated from Emerson College where I found success as a lighting technician and Director of Photography. During my time studying in Boston I worked on over 40 projects ranging from commercials and music videos to award winning short films and micro-feature productions. My work earned various awards including the Ad Club's Bronze Bowl for Best Commercial Spec at the 54th Hatch Awards Ceremony for a 2016 Rio Olympics Powerade ad spot.
At the start of 2015 I moved to Los Angeles and transitioned into creative development as a story analyst, where I quickly impressed my employers. Soon I was invited to engage directly with clients and collaborate on increasingly important projects.
Years of hard work finally paid off when I was appointed as the Junior Creative Executive/Development Assistant at Cindy Cowan Entertainment. Here I mastered administrative duties and vetted a steady flow of project materials and talent that came through our offices. This is also where I innovated a new, hands-on-approach internship program where interns gained valuable real-world skills and knowledge that would take them to their first desk assignment and beyond.
My work ethic and discerning tastes saw the CEO attached to a television show that ended in a bidding war between major industry players, including Amy Pascal's own Pascal Pictures. I also designed a research division from scratch, which paid off in spades when the heads of Screen Gems took us up on one of the horror films I pitched!
For my most recent project I published an original homebrew for the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop roleplaying game, available on D&D Beyond.
Eventually I stepped away from LA and California altogether to focus on other meaningful aspects of my life.
After some time away I'm eager to return to the creative media landscape.
Please feel free to reach out if you think I’d be a good fit for your team. I’ll be sure to prove my worth.
